On April 1, 2008 I began my foray into the wonderful world of knitting. Sure I was a bit of trepidation—knitting seems like such a complex, difficult activity to those who have never tried it.

I decided to dig into the craft by taking a class at a local knitting shop in New York City. The following is my week by week documentation of my progress.
