Clean Out Your Pumpkin

You’ll need to cut an opening to remove the seeds and the soft flesh inside the pumpkin. Traditionally, this is done by cutting a lid on top to provide access to the interior.

However, you can also cut an opening on the bottom. Making the access hole in the bottom allows you to lift off the pumpkin to light a candle. The square notch makes aligning the lid a snap.
